We recently spent our honeymoon at Niyama Private Islands, and it was truly one of the most incredible experiences of our lives. Everything was wonderful, but one person made it especially unforgettable: our butler, Dimitri Thakuru. I am genuinely amazed by his attitude, kindness, dedication and outstanding level of service. He went far beyond anything we could have expected. After leaving the resort and even the country, we realised we had accidentally left something in our villa that held great sentimental value to us. Dimitri immediately took it upon himself to help us, moving heaven and earth to find it and arrange for its return. What impressed me most wasn't just that he managed to recover it, but the way he took care of us throughout the entire process. He constantly reassured me, answered every question quickly, kept me updated and even took the time to message me outside his working hours. He made me feel supported, safe and completely at ease, even after our stay had ended. What could have been a disappointing end to our honeymoon turned into one of the most heartwarming memories of our trip. I have honestly never experienced such exceptional service in my life. Dimitri, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Niyama is incredibly lucky to have someone like you. You made our honeymoon even more special, and we will never forget your kindness. Without a doubt, the best hospitality experience we have ever had. We would return to Niyama in a heartbeat, especially because of you!

We cannot thank Zaid enough for making our stay at Niyama Private Islands so incredibly special. He was an outstanding Thakuru and truly went above and beyond for us throughout our holiday. Zaid made a point of dropping by to see us every day, keeping us updated on the daily events and everything happening around the island, and always making sure we had everything we needed. He was so thoughtful, attentive and genuinely lovely with our whole family. The girls absolutely adored him! He also went out of his way to organise some really special touches that made our stay unforgettable. On our last evening, he arranged for beanbags to be set up on the beach for us, along with a bottle of cava and a birthday cake, creating such a beautiful and memorable evening. He also arranged for our room to be decorated to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary, which was such a lovely surprise and meant a great deal to us. It is the little details and personal touches that make a holiday truly exceptional, and Zaid delivered these in abundance. His warmth, kindness and dedication are a real credit to Niyama. We would also like to extend our thanks to all the wonderful staff across the island, who were consistently so welcoming, generous and kind. We would wholeheartedly recommend Niyama to anyone considering a trip to the Maldives, and having experienced such a special stay, we would absolutely love to return. Thank you, Zaid, for helping create such wonderful memories for our family.

We had an amazing time at Niyama Private Islands. The villas are spacious and well-appointed. There was a very wide selection of food - all fresh. Lots of activities - one major plus is the tennis court and the tennis coach. Without exception, the staff were friendly and helpful. A particular shout out to Imthy and Caffrey who made our stay so special.
